Stanislaw Trzeszczkowski was born in a village in eastern Poland in 1945. He went to a secondary school of fine arts where he specialized in textiles, then went on to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He graduated with honors from the School of Graphics in 1972.

Stanislaw Trzeszczkowski currently works for the Institute of Industrial Design in Poland where he is engaged in problems of designing and promotion. Mr. Trzeszczkowski has been working with unique textiles and in painting and draftsmanship for almost 20 years. He has had several individual exhibitions and took part in more than 30 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He is creator and co-founder of a creative group for painting on silk. His art refers to the human experience, including religion and philosophy. His works can be seen in the collections of the Modern Industrial Design Center of the National Museum of Warsaw, the Central Museum of Textiles in Lodz and in private collections in Sweden, Germany, the UK, the USA, Italy, France, Finland and Belgium.
