Damn these guys are good. I’ve known The Romeros for over 35 years. Their quartet recordings are the standard every other guitar quartet must live up to. The Canadian Guitar Quartet reaches their heights. To match the Romeros they will have to keep it up for another 20 years of recordings in this class, but what a great start! Something for every soul out there. A great pair from Patrick Roux, his Les Scènes de Quartier and Alla Piazzolla, the less known 17th century Rosenmüller Sonata and arrangements of Brahms favorites and the Bach A mojor Sonata BWV 1031.
